GladiaMen
DTC · Men's grooming & personal care brand
How GladiaMen built AI Search into a launch-day growth channel
GladiaMen launched with a clear plan: split its go-to-market between paid Ads and AI Search — not treat AI Search as an afterthought. For AI Search, the brand chose Indexly to run the full stack from day one: audit, visibility tracking, traffic attribution, Content Agents, LinkedIn and Reddit presence.

The Challenge
A new brand, two channels to prove out, and no presence in either.
GladiaMen had just launched as a direct-to-consumer men's grooming and personal care brand, with no organic history, no content library and no presence in AI answers yet. Rather than lean on paid Ads alone, the brand decided upfront to make Ads and AI Search its two go-to marketing channels.
That meant AI Search couldn't be an experiment bolted on later — it had to be built right alongside Ads, from launch day, with a platform capable of running the whole stack: technical readiness, visibility tracking, attribution, content, and off-site authority and community presence.
“We didn't want to treat AI Search as something we figure out after Ads. We wanted both channels live from day one — and we needed one platform that could actually run the AI Search side end to end.”
The Goal
Make AI Search a real, measurable channel — running alongside Ads, not behind it.
Get the site AI-ready before launch, track visibility across every major AI engine, attribute traffic and conversions by channel against the Ads spend, ship content built to be cited, and build authority on LinkedIn and Reddit — all from one platform, from day one.
Why GladiaMen chose Indexly
The full AI Search stack, live from launch day.
Pillar 1
AuditAI Readiness Audit
Before a single ad ran, GladiaMen's brand-new site was audited for AI-search readiness — llms.txt, schema, crawlability for GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, and content depth — with a prioritized fix list cleared before anything else shipped.
- llms.txt and schema in place from day one, not bolted on later
- Crawlability verified for GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot
- Set up as a recurring health check, not a one-time launch task
Pillar 2
MonitoringAI Visibility Tracking
With Ads and AI Search running as GladiaMen's two go-to channels, the brand needed to know exactly where it stood in AI answers from day one. Indexly tracks how the brand is cited across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok and Google AI Overviews — daily, across hundreds of prompts, with competitor share-of-voice.
- Hundreds of grooming and personal-care category prompts tracked from launch
- Competitor share-of-voice benchmarked before GladiaMen had a single citation of its own
- One dashboard showing exactly where the brand stands, updated daily
Pillar 3
AnalyticsAI Traffic Attribution
Running Ads and AI Search side by side only works if you can prove which one is actually driving results. Indexly puts organic Google + Bing traffic next to referral sessions from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI engines — clicks, sessions and conversions attributed by channel.
- AI referral sessions measured separately from paid and organic, from week one
- Clicks, sessions and conversions attributed by channel, not lumped together
- A clean baseline to prove AI Search's ROI against the Ads budget
Pillar 4
Content AgentContent Generation, Optimization & Refresh
A brand-new site means no content library to lean on. Indexly's Content Agents generate GEO + AEO-optimized articles built to get cited and rank, then score, rewrite and refresh every page before it has the chance to go stale.
- GEO + AEO-optimized grooming and personal-care content shipped from a single prompt or keyword
- Every article published-ready with schema, internal links and images
- Optimization and refresh scheduled in from the start, not bolted on later
Pillar 5
AuthorityLinkedIn Presence
Launching a DTC brand still means building authority AI recognizes, not just a storefront. Indexly composes thought-leadership posts and long-form Pulse articles designed to build that authority and surface in AI answers and buyer feeds.
- Thought-leadership posts and Pulse articles publishing from launch
- Built to surface in AI answers, not just LinkedIn feeds
- One workspace for the whole brand voice, instead of ad-hoc posting
Pillar 6
CommunityReddit Presence
Grooming and personal-care buyers research heavily on Reddit before they buy, and AI cites those threads constantly. Indexly finds and engages the threads AI cites most with on-brand, compliant replies — building reputation and community from day one.
- High-intent grooming and personal-care threads identified and monitored
- On-brand, compliant replies focused on reputation, not spam
- Community growth managed centrally, without adding another tool to the stack
Results delivered
AI Search, live and measurable, from launch day.
With all six pillars running, GladiaMen's AI Search channel launched on equal footing with its Ads spend — instead of starting months behind, the way most new DTC brands do.
A launch-day site built to be found
GladiaMen went live with llms.txt, schema and verified crawlability already in place — an AI-ready foundation from the first day, not a retrofit months into launch.
Full-funnel AI visibility, from the start
Hundreds of category prompts are tracked daily across five AI engines, with AI referral traffic attributed alongside Google and Bing — so AI Search's contribution is measured, not guessed, right next to the Ads spend.
A content and authority engine, not a landing page
GEO/AEO-optimized content, LinkedIn thought leadership and Pulse articles are shipping on a real cadence — built to be cited, not just to fill out a new site.
Community presence without another tool
Reddit monitoring and on-brand engagement are running from launch, in the same workspace as everything else — reputation building starts alongside the first ad impressions, not after.
